'Sprummer', VP, Walkers, Getting In Tune

Every single window is open in the Hunt Valley Horsepower ‘world headquarters’.  A combination of spring and summer is in the air. [Would that be sprummer?]  The week has had highs in the 80s and that means gatherings, cruises, open houses and track days will cover the calendar more effectively than May’s brazen pollen covers our automobiles.

On the subject of events, this Saturday, check out the open house for our esteemed sponsor VP Auto Collision.  If you would like to take a country cruise from Hunt Valley Towne Centre to VP Auto Collision, you are welcome to depart with me just a bit after 10 AM [after I pack up the display tables].  For your GPS – or notepad – in case you want to drive on your own time, the address is 128 Industry Lane Suite C in Forest Hill, Maryland.  [The building actually houses 3 of our sponsors – VP Auto Collision, Glass Doctor and Reflected Images Custom Detailing.]

Many years ago, when I moved to Maryland, I sought the recommendations of the locals when it came to body repair.  VP was the top recommendation and I have been a customer ever since.  Here’s the information on the Open House straight from VP’s Facebook page:

Hey everyone!  VP is celebrating our 10 year anniversary!  We are having an open house this Saturday May 9th.  We will be here from 10am till 2pm.  We have some giveaways, shop tours, nice cars, and cold drinks.  Bring anyone who is interested...kids too!

Several customers are bringing their cars for people to look at and to showcase our work.  We are car enthusiasts and love to see what others are doing to their rides so feel free to bring yours to show off!

This Saturday morning at Hunt Valley Towne Centre, you’ll certainly see walkers participating in the March of Dimes ‘March for Babies’ that starts on the northern side of the property at 9 AM.  Our gathering area will remain the same.  For smoother entry into our gathering area, you are encouraged to arrive before 9 AM.  Most of our community already arrives between 8 AM and 9 AM but it’s worthy to call notice to the charity walk so you’re not caught off guard.

To be honest, I have been locked down to office work all week.  It’s time to take a cruise.  I suggest that you find the time to do the same.  Be it during the busy work week or over the – at times - busier weekend, clear the schedule for a few minutes.  Get some ‘alone time’ with just you and your favorite automobile.  Find a clear road.  Clear the mind.  Get back in tune.  See you down the road!
