A Year With Automobiles & Friends

2016 is a presidential election year in the United States, for European soccer fans it’s a European Championship year, NASA’s Juno spacecraft is scheduled to enter Jupiter’s orbit and the Summer Olympics arrives in Brazil.  I will be discussing none of these topics in this newsletter.  We’re just a few days from hanging a new calendar on the wall and the holidays are buzzing around us.  Let’s keep it simple.  

Edition 52 brings us to the end of the calendar year.  In this case, it’s the end of our 4th calendar year.  Volume 5 and the 5th calendar year start next week.  Some say that time flies, but when you put your mind to it, all of those special Saturday mornings can add up to a mountain of excellent memories.  

Think about the automobiles.  Maybe the car you walked by last Saturday was part of your childhood.  Maybe the car parked right next to it is the car that you’ll be purchasing for your new family.  Think about the people.  There have been reunions after decades and new friends made after just a few minutes.  New friends…old friends…soon-to-be friends.  

No matter where the road takes us, we’ll be surrounded by friends for that’s the way we do it.
