Check out a mix of videos from our Saturday morning gatherings as well as our activities throughout the region.

Just before the nation’s gatherings were postponed due to COVID-19, Savage Garage detailed a March, 2020 visit to Hunt Valley Horsepower.

When the Broken Lizard crew wrapped filming for Super Troopers 2, the squad made a short video about the regulations of Hunt Valley Horsepower.  ST2 premiered in theaters on April 20, 2018 and crushed expectations at the box office.

For Hunt Valley Horsepower's 2nd Anniversary on Saturday, April 5, 2014, Feature Reporter Zach Maskell and a videographer from MotorWeek were on hand to film our community for an upcoming television feature on the national 'Cars & Coffee Phenomenon'.  The episode started airing nationally via PBS and Maryland Public Television on May 17, 2014 with later airing dates on Velocity and Vme!  See the feature right here...

Car people can do great things.  $5000 was raised for Mount Washington Pediatric Hospital thanks to the generosity of car enthusiasts and the lead energies of David Engelman.  Being this my first deep dive into Adobe Premiere Pro, please be easy on my editing. :)  Click Settings then 720 or 1080 to view in full clarity. Also be sure your volume is on. ;) [11/12/17]

The GPV Colonel 8x8x8 is an occasional visitor to our gatherings in Hunt Valley.  It's capabilities were put on display in an industrial area near Baltimore, Maryland for a major movie casting. All of the Hollywood stuff isn't included but you'll see this monster in the upcoming "Predator" movie! [11/15/16] * Update: The video owner deleted the video. It was good while it lasted. Here’s a suitable backup of the same vehicle.

Bob Davidson Ford Lincoln's BBQ & Burnouts started with World Formula D Champion Vaughn Gittin Jr. leading the caravan from Hunt Valley Horsepower and closed with a massive burnout in his Mustang RTR after departing from the Quick Lane.  In between, Vaughn treated a packed house of onlookers and passengers to drift demos in the latest Ford Focus RS and Mustang RTR. DSC Sport and TPC Racing brought together competition racers as well as the world-famous Randy Pobst and Matt Farah at Summit Point Motorsports Park to test their automotive products. The video format is not embeddable so check it out at the following link: https://www.skypixel.com/videos/dsc-sport-and-tpc-racing-at-summit-point.  Thank you to DSC Sport and TPC Racing! [5/17/16]

The regional enthusiast community gathered at The Winery at Elk Manor for the spring edition of the Chesapeake Concours.  The video is courtesy of SV Media Films. [4/24/16]

After a rough winter and a vulture attack - and make that plural (vultures) - Diamond Detail brought my car back to life!  [3/25/16]

Even when there's a blizzard, there's always a way to get to Hunt Valley Horsepower.  The Blizzard of 2016 didn't stop us. [1/23/16]

Hunt Valley Horsepower cruised to Simeone Museum in Philadelphia for one of their famous Demo Days. The '70 Porsche 917 LH (seen in the movie "Le Mans") and the '64 Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe (the first ever made) are driving on the outdoor track and inside the museum. [11/14/15]

I was talking to my techs about preventive maintenance. During the conversation, I recognized an exhaust note. A few seconds later, the Porsche 918 emerged. The video is in slo-mo to closely resemble my memory of the experience. [12/18/14]

There was an opportunity to go behind the scenes with MotorWeek. Hunt Valley Horsepower sourced the Gallardo for the introduction of MotorWeek's Huracan feature. As a lifelong viewer, the experience at MotorWeek was surreal. [5/20/14]

Hunt Valley Horsepower fielded dozens of submissions for the exotic car casting to arrive at the car used in the Nike commercial production.  Here's a few iPhone cuts from the on-set action.  Silent R Productions -- out of Winston-Salem, North Carolina -- filmed this commercial segment in Baltimore's Financial District.  The car is a Ferrari F430 that is owned by Matt Malesic out of Reston, Virginia.  Erin Brooks plays the role of the sprinter.  She was an All-ACC sprinter/jumper that recently graduated from Wake Forest University via Seton Keough High School in Baltimore. [11/17/13]

Here's a few seconds of the ride with world champion drifter Vaughn Gittin Jr. Thank you to Vaughn and the RTR Drift Team and everyone at Bob Davidson Ford Lincoln in Baltimore, Maryland for bringing together a top event and for being absolutely fantastic people.

This is a ride that I'll never forget. [9/28/13]

Samuel Reyes, a videographer that is a staple at automotive events throughout the Mid-Atlantic region, quickly cut a 14:15 chronology from his extensive run of video of our 'Late Summer' Special Gathering on Saturday, August 10, 2013. Samuel, thank you for your hard work and dedication to the automotive enthusiast community.

If you missed the event, this video is just about the closest thing to being there.

Our Adopt-A-Road Program adoption is Thornton Mill Road in northern Baltimore County.  The 3.6-mile drive -- seen below -- starts on the northern end of Thornton Mill Road at Gerber Lane and continues until its southern end on York Road.  For reference on its proximity to Hunt Valley Towne Centre, the video closes at that point.  The video’s speed was increased by 2x to keep its duration under 4 minutes.  (All posted speed limits were honored.)

For more information on our involvement, see Giving Back > Adopt-A-Road Program.

Planning is underway for the launch of Hunt Valley Horsepower track days.  One of our community members, Nathan Shriver, captured one of his track experiences with spectacular production quality.

Jeffrey Inouye provided a unique perspective of our 'Early Summer' Special Gathering on June 1, 2013.  The same-day edit appears below.  Now that's quick work.

For the Inaugural Grand Prix of Baltimore in 2011, all national car clubs with car corrals were allowed to take a parade lap of the actual race course.

Hunt Valley Horsepower intercepted the Ferrari Club of America's One Lap of America at Collectors Car Corral in Owings Mills, Maryland.  You'll see about 52 seconds of the cruise from Hunt Valley to Owings Mills followed by the arrival of the Ferrari 599 GTB HGTE and Ferrari Dino.  The beautiful automobiles are commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Ferrari Club of America by taking the grandest of tours.

Segments of the cruise from Hunt Valley Towne Centre to Bimmerfest East '12 in Aberdeen, Maryland can be viewed here.

The '47 Bandini Siluro 1100, shown here, was pulling out of Treasured Motorcar Services in Reisterstown on its way to the trailer headed to Simeone Museum in Philadelphia.  Bandini raced this actual car in the 1949 Mille Miglia!  There may be 50 models remaining so this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity had to be captured on video.
