Welcome to McLaren of Philadelphia
In the heritage of Cars & Coffee-type gatherings across the world, participation in Hunt Valley Horsepower gatherings is free. [There may be some wildly-unique events down the road that may have an entry fee but they’ll be well beyond the definition of Cars & Coffee.] This adventure started all the way back on Saturday, March 31, 2012 and it’s now my full-time passion / full-time profession. Once in a while, I’ll be asked how I pay the bills for the gatherings…as well as for basic life. It’s a two-word answer: our sponsors.

Each has been chosen to be part of the sponsor team due to the strength of recommendations from members of our community. Their support accounts for 100% of the funding related to event insurance, event signage, security, grounds crew, police permits, website fees, print and internet advertising, t-shirts, decals and everything down to the event table, tent, document holders and printer ink.

Please allow me to announce the latest addition to the Hunt Valley Horsepower sponsor team – McLaren of Philadelphia! Over the years, you may have recognized a McLaren 12C or McLaren 650S appearing at our Special Gatherings. Surely, it could have been driven by one of the many McLaren of Philadelphia customers in our community. Both models may have also made an appearance courtesy of our friends at McLaren of Philadelphia. Our relationship has grown over the years. [It is not uncommon for relationships to take many months or even years before businesses join as community sponsors.] There were discussions with customers. There was research into the automobiles and the dealership’s service quality. Of course, Hunt Valley Horsepower was vetted too. After Thursday morning’s meeting, our partnership started!
