Honorable People, Honorable Cause

We’re just over one week away.  The ‘Late Summer’ Special Gathering is getting tuned for Saturday, August 10.  While we convene on a weekly basis to celebrate our community, on Saturday, August 10 we give back to our wounded veterans and their families by contributing to the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund.  Let’s assemble our automotive community in celebration of our people and our automobiles.  Let’s also elevate our community for an honorable cause.

If you love your car, truck or SUV, you’re invited.  Enthusiasts from all generations take the wheel of automobiles from all marques and all generations to cruise to Hunt Valley Horsepower.  Imagine a 1930 Ford Model A, 1956 Wolseley 15/50, 1969 Chevy Camaro, 1975 Bricklin SV-1, 1982 DeLorean DMC-12, 1993 Porsche 911 RS and a 2013 Dodge Challenger being part of the same community.  These treasured automobiles travel from our backyard and from distant locales.  For our One-Year Anniversary on March 30, 2013, a full car club from North Carolina took part.  For the ‘Early Summer’ Special Gathering on June 1, 2013, a young man drove his new Subaru BRZ from California – just to have a memorable time while running through those critical break-in miles.  Love it?  You’re invited. 

While there are many special appearances noted for Saturday, August 10, the most special appearance is made by you.  You are part of the Hunt Valley Horsepower family.  You have the passion for automobiles.  You have the respect for our growing community.  You spread the word to other passionate and respectful automotive enthusiasts.  Every Saturday morning, we create beautiful new memories.  Thank you for all of those memories and may we all assemble on Saturday, August 10 to create the next superlative chapter.
